Hardcover first edition with green cloth covered board decorated design and white lettering. Both have some of the coloration missing. Boards are somewhat rubbed. Top edge gilt. Binding is shaken but intact with all pages and illustrations present. Previous owner's name and date (1908) written in ink on the front free endpapers twice. Otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked. Acceptable copy of this first edition written by Mrs. St Julien Ravenel, a prominent Charlestonian of the time. Professional packaging and prompt shipping.
