First Edition. 2 volume set. Both volumes in uniform 3/4 red leather. All hinges started but text blocks are solid and tight, last two blank endpapers of volume 1 are loose but included. Both volumes have rubbing to the corners and edges. Volume 1 has a cup ring stain on the front board that also caused some loss of the decorative paper, this stain shows through till the title page. Errata page and Advertisement page are after the title page in volume 2. No marks or notations. Octavo. Volume 1, 376 pp. Volume 2, 352 pp.
