Volume 6, bound edition, containing 52 issues of the weekly newspaper "The Albion" from June 16, 1827 to June 7, 1828. Marbled paper boards have considerable wear, and front board has completely detached. At one time there was 1/4 leather binding, however the leather has been removed, and binding is now completely exposed. Some leather residue remains on outer corners of boards. First 70 pages have small holes and/or tears along top margin from prior insect damage. Foxing and some dark, age-related spot staining throughout. Page 136 has a column that has been cut out, and page 231 has a small cut out square. Several pages are creased. Last 4 pages have some dark moisture staining at lower outer corner.
